Clean sweep chimney service — Durham, NC

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Cleaning costs depend on a few specific things regarding your fireplace setup. We look at the total height of the chimney, the number of flues, and how much creosote buildup has accumulated over time. If your chimney has been neglected for several seasons, or if there are blockages like animal nests or heavy debris, the labor required increases. The type of liner and the fireplace architecture also play a role in the complexity of the service. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

A clean sweep service involves a comprehensive removal of soot, creosote, and blockages from your chimney liner. Technicians use vacuums and specialized brushes to ensure that no debris remains, which helps your fire burn cleaner and protects your home from chimney fires. You should book this service annually or if you burn wood frequently, as heavy usage accelerates buildup. Regular maintenance keeps your system reliable and safe. Exact pricing is confirmed free on the call.
