Top hatter chimney sweep — Portland, OR

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

Cleaning costs depend on a few specific things regarding your fireplace setup. We look at the total height of the chimney, the number of flues, and how much creosote buildup has accumulated over time. If your chimney has been neglected for several seasons, or if there are blockages like animal nests or heavy debris, the labor required increases. The type of liner and the fireplace architecture also play a role in the complexity of the service. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

A top hatter chimney sweep focuses on clearing the entire length of the chimney, paying special attention to the cap and the upper flue where blockages often occur. This service is designed to clear out obstructions that prevent proper drafting and ventilation. If your fireplace is struggling to vent smoke, or if you see visible buildup near the top of your chimney, professional intervention is necessary. Exact pricing is confirmed free on the call.
